When the opportunity arose to collaborate with the MS Arch team again, we jumped at the chance. Our bi-coastal clients resided in a different building within the land marked complex but had long admired the Penthouse unit. Though the apartment was in complete disrepair, it offered top floor panoramic views and a larger footprint.
We were brought on early to work closely alongside the architects and general contractor, allowing for an integrated design process. The furniture plan and material palette were developed around the clients’ extensive art collection, which served as the color throughout the space. The collaboration was seamless, as both the architect and clients shared our aesthetic sensibility, and valued the level of customization, craftsmanship and quality brought to the project.
